I found the staff very friendly and helpful. My room had better facilities than i expected. It included good tea and coffee, bathrobes, and slippers. The breakfast was also good. There was plenty of parking. A bus stop was conveniently located right outside, helpful..
The room was really hot. The window did not open much. The road noise was noticeable, but not too bad.

i stayed in a cottage portland room. it was a superb flatlet. i booked a meal in the pubs restaurant and the food was lovely. breakfast was included in the morning.
Access to the room was up a steep and narrow staircase. This made it difficult to manage with a heavy suitcase.
